Bieber’s appearance at the second weekend of Coachella comes after a source told PEOPLE his former friends are concerned about him

Justin Bieber returned to Indio, Calif., for the second weekend of Coachella and was spotted smoking what fans say looks like marijuana next to his 15-year-old brother in a fan-captured video.
In the video, which was posted on X on April 20, Bieber, 31, is seen shirtless and dancing in a crowd with the alleged blunt-like object in his mouth. The camera then follows as he moves to the right and ends up next to his brother Jaxon. (Bieber has four half-siblings: Jaxon and sisters Allie, Jazmyn and Bay.)
Then, his wife Hailey Baldwin Bieber places her hands on Jaxon’s back and he begins to walk in the other direction, away from Bieber. The camera then pans back to the “Peaches” singer, who’s dancing once again.
A rep for Bieber did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
Bieber’s appearance at the second weekend of Coachella comes after he attended Sexyy Red’s birthday party, where fans on social media pointed out his joyful mood and called out his demeanor with the rapper vs. his wife. Sexyy Red later came to Bieber’s defense.
Days prior, a source told PEOPLE Bieber’s former circle was concerned about him.
“He is facing a lot of different demons right now,” the source said. “He is making some really poor decisions lately, further impacting friendships, money, and business.”
The insider added, “People are worried about him.”

Additionally, one of Bieber’s former team members recently told The Hollywood Reporter that the “Never Say Never” singer was “lost” and claimed that he was left with millions of dollars in debt after canceling his Justice Tour in 2022.
However, Bieber’s rep disputed the magazine’s claims. “This is just clickbait stupidity based on unnamed — and clearly ill-informed — ‘sources,’ disappointed that they no longer work with Justin,” a rep told PEOPLE in a statement.
They added, “As Justin forges his own way forward, these unnecessary stories and inaccurate assumptions will continue. But, they won’t deter him from staying committed to following the right path.”
On Coachella weekend one, he and Hailey, 28, hosted an A-list party at the Red Bull Mirage. Attendees included friends of the Biebers, along with notable Hollywood names like Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Tate McRae, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey McGuire, Justine Skye, Alix Earle and Yeat.
