Why the Josslyn WSB Storyline on General Hospital Feels So Off

To me, this whole storyline about Josslyn being trained to become a WSB agent is just ridiculous. It feels like the writers are reaching way too far to give her something “important” to do, and instead of it being exciting, it comes off as forced and unrealistic.

Josslyn has always been a strong character—independent, fiery, and capable—but becoming a spy? Since when has she ever shown interest or skill in espionage, combat, or anything remotely related to WSB work? It’s like they plucked this idea out of nowhere just to give her a big storyline, without laying the groundwork for it.

Not to mention, WSB agents usually have deep backgrounds in law enforcement, military, or at least years of shady experience like Anna or Robert. Josslyn’s background? College student, occasional barista, and daughter of Carly and Jax. It’s just not adding up.

This plot could’ve been used to spotlight someone with a more believable path to the WSB—or better yet, let Josslyn forge her own identity instead of cramming her into a role that makes no sense. GH has done better. This isn’t it.

What direction do you think would make more sense for Josslyn’s character?
